Earle W. Noyes & Sons Wins 2009 “Maine Family Business” Award
PORTLAND, ME — The Institute for Family-Owned Business has named Earle W. Noyes & Sons, Inc. 2009 Family Business of the Year in the Large-Business category for businesses with more than 25 employees.
E.W. Noyes & Sons is an 86-year-old, fourth-generation company.
This year, 63 businesses were nominated, and 9 businesses were chosen as finalists. The awards are divided into three categories based on size and service. Each award honors three highly successful individuals from Maine family businesses who have supported family enterprise and the Institute over the years.
E.W. Noyes & Sons President, Peter Noyes, said, “I’m extremely honored and very grateful to be able to share this award with my father Lester and my sons Will and Brent, along with the rest of the E.W. Noyes family of talented and dedicated staff.”
